Learn about Yuval Tal

Yuval Tal, enjoys a diverse and successful career in internet commerce and payment solutions that has spanned more than 20 years. His business savvy, combined with extensive on-the-job experience, has positioned Tal firmly as a leader in the field of e-commerce and its related services.

Yuval Tal’s early career included a term as VP business development at Radware and General Manager of R-U-Sure. His move to independence, with its accompanying boost to his career, came in 1995 with the establishment of E4X. The company, today known as FiftyOne, offers solutions and services that facilitate international payments via the internet. With its impressive annual turnover of more than $500 million, the company remains an industry leader.

Six years after E4X, Tal founded another company in the same field – Payoneer – of which he is president. The strength of Payoneer’s system for distributing payments online lies in its power and relative simplicity. Payoneer’s system is based on the issue of prepaid MasterCard® cards and is comprehensive, including issue and registration of cards through to funding and reporting. The company is headquartered in New York, has R&D operations in Israel and is staffed by more than 100 financial and technological professionals. The Payoneer system ensures privacy and security, while eliminating the needs for credit checks and other cumbersome procedures required by regular banking services.

Payments-R-Us keeps Yuval in the field of e-commerce, though of a different nature. Together with three other experienced players in the field, the company aims to help businesses select the unique payment solution best suited to their operation.

Yuval Tal spent his formative years in Israel, where he was born in 1965. He graduated from Tel Aviv University with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering, minor in business administration. Tal’s leisure time is devoted to photography and sports, with a particular liking for marathons and triathlons.
